Engagement Session in the Rain

May has been especially rainy this year. The rain, however, did not keep Aaron, June and I from getting outside and photographing their engagement session. We met at Cooper's Coffee in SE Portland where I fueled up with a giant Longbottom iced-tea. The flowers were just waking up and it was amazing that we ran into a giant field of yellow flowers that just happened to match the shirt that June was wearing. We had the park almost to ourselves as the bicyclers, runners and families ran for cover in the sporadic torrential downpours. From Mt. Tabor is was a short drive to The Pearl District to finish up our engagement session. I can't wait for Aaron and June's Wedding at the Skamania Lodge. What a great couple. Eric Tweed at McMenamins Edgefield

I had the pleasure of photographing Eric Tweed this morning at the McMenamin's Edgefield Hotel. Eric has been recording a solo album and I can't wait to hear the mix. If you are out and about in Troutdale I highly reccomend the seafood chowder at the Power House Pub. Perfect on a cold day like today. Thanks Eric for a great morning!
